Searching For Your French-Canadian Ancestor? Can't find him/her? Let our Research Team help!
The French-Canadian Heritage Society of California has one of the largest collections of French-Canadian resources in the United States. The FCHSC collection is housed at the Southern California Genealogical Society Family Research Library in Burbank, California.
If you are not able to access the collection in person to conduct your own research, our Research Team performs fee-based research in order to support our library and build our collection.
- A non-refundable $10 payment gets us started. This $10 will be applied to any subsequent charges should we find information for you. We are currently waiving this $10 start up fee for French Heritage DNA Project members!
- $5 per vital record (birth/baptism, marriage, death/burial).
- If available, you will be given a copy of all documentation. An additional fee will apply if you need us to copy and mail documents to you.
- Translation services may also be purchased. Your request will be evaluated based on the legibility and length of your document. Once we evaluate your request, you will be notified of our cost estimate.
Please provide us with a pedigree or similar chart with as much information as you have.
Let us know of any restrictions you have. For instance you may only want us to find one marriage, and not the entire line.
